Recently Taiwan pig industry has been facing many challenges that create difficulties for the breeders: several typhoons in South West of Taiwan created huge building damages as well as shortage of breeders, spreading of sickness created shortage of breeders for the farms. Recent tax burden brought by the USA administration might also favor in the near future the import of cheap pork meat from the USA, creating challenge on the local price. All those difficulties show the necessity for the pig industry to evolve, increase its performance, biosecurity and margin. The farms who don't evolve might very soon face harsh difficulty that will endanger their survival . France farmers have also in the past faced several crises when pig price went down and feed price increased. Those crises forced the french farmers to improve or facing closing down. Visit of the Board
7 月 25 日，法國 Cooperl 集團高層與科普利信台灣團隊拜訪農業部及中央畜產會，就台灣豬農面臨的 PRRS 與 比利華品種遺傳育種 等議題進行討論。此次會議具建設性，為未來雙方在畜牧科技與產業合作奠定基礎。
On July 25th, Cooperl’s executive team, together with Cooperl Taiwan, visited Taiwan’s Ministry of Agriculture and NAIF. The discussions addressed key challenges for Taiwanese pig producers, including PRRS and Pietrain genetic breeding. The constructive meeting laid the foundation for future collaboration in livestock technology and industry practices.

Optiscan On-site Test
過去兩個月，我們在多個畜牧場展示並測試 Optiscan 手持式豬隻秤重儀。由於操作簡單，即使未經專業訓練，也能輕鬆達到約 90% 的測量準確度；而經過完整培訓後，準確度更可提升至 98%。 Optiscan 結合先進技術與人工智慧運算，實現非接觸、快速且高精準度 的體重測量，協助豬農提升生產效率與管理便利性。本次展示也顯示出台灣養豬產業對於 數位轉型 的高度關注。
These two months, we demonstrated and tested in several farms the Optiscan pig weight scanner. Due to its facility of operation, the accuracy will reach 90% easily without professional training. After proper training, the accuracy will reach up to 98%. Using advanced technology and AI calculation, Optiscan provides contact-free, fast, and very hight accurate weight measurements, helping farmers improve efficiency and management. The event highlights a strong interest among pig farmers in the digital transformation of Taiwan’s pig industry.
